Start with status, not amount
An expected deposit and a received deposit can have the same amount, but they do not describe the same reality. Received income contributes to the weekly total. Planned income remains visible as a plan. A Not Received entry stays available for follow-up instead of quietly disappearing.
Let Expenses mean paid expenses
A bill can be planned, partially paid, paid or unpaid. The Expenses view uses payments that actually happened. Future and incomplete bills keep their own state, so the weekly total does not overstate what left the account.
Use the difference as a signal
Net Cash Flow compares received income with paid expenses. It is not a forecast and it is not advice. It is a concise reading of the week, with a dedicated day-by-day view when you need to understand the movement behind the total.
A clear weekly number begins with honest statuses: received, paid, planned and unresolved.
